Scope.gg Stats Explained: Aim, Utility & Trends
Updated and reviewed ยท csst.at glossary
Scope.gg supplies current-versus-previous performance statistics, rifle and sniper aim measurements, and grenade analysis. Its Aim and Utility scores use Scope.gg's own model; they are not interchangeable with Leetify scores.
What do the two numbers and arrows mean?
The bright number is the current value; the smaller number is the previous value supplied by Scope.gg. Arrows indicate direction of change, rather than a universal judgment of improvement. For example, a lower time to damage is generally preferable, while a lower win rate is not.
Scope.gg describes its progress view as comparing recent groups of matches. csst.at displays the periods returned by the source; the payload does not provide an exact date range or a sample count for every aggregate. The number of history entries in the profile's source details is not the denominator of every displayed statistic.
Example: a 60% current win rate and 50% previous win rate differ by 10 percentage points. That is not a 10% relative increase.
Aim, Utility, HLTV 2.1, KAST and per-round metrics
- Aim / Utility: Scope.gg's summary scores for those aspects of play.
- KD: the returned kill/death ratio.
- ADR: average damage per round.
- HLTV 2.1: the performance-rating field labeled 2.1 by the source. It differs from Leetify's signed impact rating.
- KPR: kills per round.
- KAST: the share of rounds with a kill, assist, survival or traded death.
- Winrate: the returned share of matches won, displayed as a percentage.
Rifle and sniper aim measurements
Rifle and sniper measurements are displayed separately. Rifle time is labeled Time to kill; sniper time is labeled Time to damage. They describe different endpoints and should not be compared as if they were the same measurement. Times are displayed in seconds, and a range means the source supplied lower and upper bounds.
Accuracy and first-bullet accuracy are percentages for their respective categories. Rifle HS% follows the supplied aim statistic; it should not automatically be treated as headshot kills divided by all kills. Missing categories or values mean the source did not provide them.
Example: 0.40 seconds is 400 milliseconds. Convert units before comparing with a TTD value shown in milliseconds, and still check that the definitions and match sets match.
Grenades, fire and flash assists
- Smokes: the supplied number used per match.
- Flash: the average duration supplied, displayed in seconds.
- Util DMG / HE hits: the source's utility damage and enemies damaged with HE values for the displayed role.
- Avg HE dmg / Fire hits / Impact flashes: additional supplied utility metrics. These describe HE damage, enemies damaged by fire and impactful flash assists.
Overall, rifle and sniper categories appear when available. The csst.at response does not expose a denominator for every utility field, so avoid treating an unlabeled value as damage per round.
